Flytastic, Birdflight, and a suite of related software was co-developed by Rob Jagnow and Matthias Müller-Fischer for Optobyte Corp. in Zurich, Switzerland. These applications couple high-resolution aerial photographs with Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) to give a compelling feeling of flying through the mountains of Switzerland. Data overlays show hiking trails, biking trails, tramways, towns, mountains, attractions, and a variety of other data. Many of these labels have 3D hyperlinks that take the user a website with more information.
